I got a bunny here and she has been fine. But this place gets their animals from mills, puppy mills where they breed dogs with no interest in their health and well keeping. The animals are wild when you take them out. They are kept in little box size cages that are dirty and have iron bars on the bottom that hurt their paws. I know that the puppies are adorable, but please don't buy from here because that gives them more business and they'll never close. And as long as places like this stay open, dogs, cats, bunnies, kittens and more will suffer from being overbred and die of diseases. Search up bailing out benji to help.
One month ago I walked into this store with no intentions of buying, just to look. I seen a male pekignese that stole my heart right away. Yes he was priced high and had a slight cold, but when you are purchasing, you have to expect extra cost when taking any puppy from anywhere. If you truly desire that pup, you will do what is necessary. Petland in Janesville reduced the price and sent me home with my fur baby Bumble the Abonimable Hitman that I Love with all my heart. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have pretty much any supplies you could need for pets and it's always fun to play with the puppies. Even if you aren't buying or aren't sure, you're always welcome to play with the puppies to socialize them and get them exercise. If you're even looking for something fun to do you could ask if there are any puppies that haven't been out to play in a while. It helps the puppies and you get to relieve stress with a happy go lucky goofball.
This is a smaller pet store than a Petco or Petland, but they have a nice selection for standard and exotic pets. The staff is friendly and there has never been much of a wait to check out. I wish they offered adoption services instead of pets for sale, but that's not really something to take up with the local folks.
