Went to store to buy a ring for my wife for xmas. Thought I had excellent customer service with a promise from sales person saying it would be there by xmas. Waited and waited and called the store , sales person told me they tried to call my phone and it made the fax machine sound. I have had this number for 15 years and never had any problems. The store tried to use it as a scape goat for failing to do their job. Will not be shopping here again.
I don't even know where to start. Everything about our experience was awful, starting with an argument with the sales woman about my ring size. I'm a solid 5 but she insisted that I get a 5.5. I told her it would be too big and she ignored me, wrote down what she wanted and refused to talk to me anymore and walked away. When I got my ring back, it was too big but now the man who does the sizing had messed it up and at the time I didn't realize it. They told me it couldn't be sized but they could put these bumps on the inside band that would help hold it. Not only did it not work, but the bumps were sharp and punctured my skin several times. They refused to do anything more to it, telling me they couldn't remove the bumps, even after I showed them the damage it was doing. So I went up to the Madison east branch, which is where I found out the damage done to my band during the sizing. They told me they could special order my ring in my size. They told me up to 6 weeks. This all happened October last year. At the 6 week mark I still had not recived a call so I called them, to find out I wouldn't get it until Mid-January. Another 6 weeks away. So I waited again and still no call. I called back again to be told February. We finally were able to pick it up today and it's a totally different ring. The design is slightly different and the stone color is darker. The only reason I dealt with these people was because of how much I loved my ring, but now I don't even get that. Never go to this branch. The women were all rude and unprofessional and had a complete lack of common courtesy and respect. I wasn't angry or rude to them and they still treated me like I was a pain and waste of their time. They don't even deserve one star.
The manager is very friendly. BUT I took my wedding rings in to get them soldered together. The first time I got my ring back, all three of them were off centered. When I brought my ring back in, I had to argue with the woman there to have all of my rings redone. She said the only really noticable one is the bottom ring and if they move that one, you wouldn't notice to top one being off centered. I explained to her that I was not happy with that and would like them all recentered. She said OK. When I picked up my ring again, the top ring was still off center, wasn't even touched like I was told it would be. I pointed this out and they told me it's not a big enough deal for them to fix, therefore I would have to pay for any further repair. I will be bringing my ring to Diamond Center for further repair.
