Quiet place, budget friendly, clean room
Lovely home. Lovely host. I will go out of my way to stay here.
I was in town for a wedding and was excited to find such a great deal for a hotel room. Little did I know I was actually getting a crazy good deal because the room I was in was practically two with the attached sleeper porch. The whole house is beautiful and the owner really puts her all into the place. If you're looking for a nice quiet place to stay for a relaxing weekend or you're really into the Victorian period I highly recommend it.
Scarlett House is a delightful and beautiful property full of charm. The house itself is well kept and full of antiques. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We stayed in the Rose room and were delighted by the sleeping porch, plush carpets and firm but comfy bed.
My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We stayed in the garden suite. The garden tub was amazing! There was also a nice single shower in the room. There was a smart TV in the room which was nice to watch movies on when not otherwise engaged. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were amazing! The house itself is very beautiful. It is cluttered with boxes and things that could definitely be cleaned up. This did take away from the beauty of the house on the inside. Michelle was very accommodating. Breakfast consisted of potato pancakes, cheese omelettes, ham, coffee, and orange juice. It was very good. Michelle's dog was the sweetest! She even followed us up to our room as we were getting ready to leave. She wasn't intrusive though. Overall it was a fantastic overnight getaway for us! We will definitely be going back. The rates were very good. She also has great rates for weeknights if you wanted to go stay during the week.
