I wish i could give negative stars. Long story short my car reservation that i had made a month in advance had been accidently cancelled by the enterprise call center. The manager working at this enterprise offered no help, solutions, or sympathy to us even though it was their mistake, and I was suppose to be driving out to Cleveland, Ohio and meeting people at a specific time that day! The store could not find any history of my transaction so i called the call center. They found my history and guaranteed me there would be a car available once I gave the store a confirmation number. WRONG. There is no communication between the call center and the stores. We were left on our own to call another Enterprise and drive two and a half hours out of our way to get another rental. Not "award winning customer service".
We went here to rent a car the day after my family was struck by a distracted driver who blew a red light. We needed a rental car for a few weeks to get us by. We saw online that there were multiple cars available, so we drove out to rent one. Once we got there the staff seemed less than helpful. First of all they asked why we didn't go to the Delavan branch instead of theirs. Nice. They reported only one Mustang was available while their online availability showed something different which leads me to believe they are unorganized. A reservation may have helped us in this situation, but after reading the other reviews - I'm not so sure. We were looking for something with 4 wheel drive for a family. They reported a SUV would be back at noon and that we would be notified when the car was returned. We went to lunch to waste some time. We never got a call... We ended up going to Budget down the street and had the best customer service ; they also beat Enterprises quote for a better vehicle. It pays to be courteous and organized.
I think the employees were friendly and helpful. I was driving cross country to Washington State from Wisconsin. I got a flat tire in Montana and was given a new car in Spokane Washington, only to have it have the oil light blinking at 16% then down to 0% by the time i got back to North Dakota. Yikes!!! While the service was good, I felt that they could have made sure I was given a vehicle that I wouldn't have to worry about, especially driving as far as I did. Overall I would rent from again, I just wont be shy about making sure they check the whole car for stuff so as to avoid any anxiety while driving. Its why I rented from Enterprise, so I wouldn't have to worry about my car breaking down.
Then to be told they can't help me because of my Minnesota license and only payment method was my debit card. Very unprofessional staff. But good news is Budget down the road took care of me and I got a better car for less.
Great customer service. Great prices. Highly recommend!
