I ordered a few tools online and set them for in store pick up. We'll I arrive to get them and I can't find the desk I'm supposed to go to. So I ask someone at the front desk and I was told it was in "that" direction. So after about 5 minutes of walking around I finally find a sign. It's ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK. How is that convenient? In the time it took to do this whole thing I could have found the tools on the shelf myself and waited in line at a register and still have time to spare. Not to mention every employee I dealt with treated me like I was their enemy.
Having cashier's is turn their backs on customers it's bad form. Employee should wear certification badges for being knowledgeable in particular Department. Good selection good prices
This store is great for anything. the people are very helpful. we go here to get paint and all sorts of supplies for fixing the house
The store was clean and well-organized however if I ever have to visit it in the future I will make sure that I know exactly what I'm looking for because the employees there definitely will not be able to help.
The store was busy today but not enough to warrant being ignored by almost every employee. I needed assistance finding 3 items, but I could only find help one of those times. Menards used to be somewhere you could count on a friendly and helpful staff.
First I was helped out by a kid who did nothing but complain about how is back hurts and how he just injured it and that he could not help me if I needed it because his back was injured. He informed me of this prior to even knowing what I needed.
Next I was looking for a simple thread repair kit called Helicoil and you would have sworn I was speaking Japanese. The people at the store know very little about tools or about the place they work. They were also unable to direct me to some simple hydraulic cement nor did they know what it is.
